CFD Engineer

Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a CFD Engineer at this terrific Columbus manufacturing company!
The CFD Engineer is responsible for taking information from sales and application engineering to complete design projects for heating solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Review design specifications for feasibility in manufacturing
• Create customer geometry, heating element, and jacket layers in SolidWorks for simulation.
• Complete heating element layout designs
• Create and review shop drawings, bills of materials, and bills of operations, to produce custom heating products
• Perform heat transfer analyses for various applications including freeze protection, condensation prevention, and process heating.
• Run simulations using Ansys and troubleshoot as needed
Great direct hire opportunity offering full benefits package, paid time off, and 401K. Salary will be in the range of $65-75,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Knowledge of basic heat transfer principles and electrical circuits
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics
• Experience with SolidWorks and Ansys
• Knowledge of manufacturing documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics, and bills of materials
